DESCRIPTION:Myocarditis Foundation Roundtable Luncheon \nMonday August 12\, 2024 \nArcola Country Club \nParamus Road \nParamus\, New Jersey 07652 \n  \nWe welcome Myocarditis & Pericarditis patients and families to a roundtable discussion in person\, with two of our specialists in Myocarditis and Pericarditis. \nCome join us for lunch and to speak in person to these specialists. This will be an opportunity to learn more about myocarditis and pericarditis\, meet some of our board members and staff\, and meet other families who have similar experiences. \nIn a small intimate setting\, you will be able to listen to our medical experts\, share your experience\, and ask questions. \nRegistration will begin at 12:30 pm and lunch will be served. Roundtable discussions to begin at 1:15 pm. \nOur panel will include: \n\nDr. Leslie Cooper\, MD\, Chair\, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine Mayo Clinic\, Florida.  Dr. Cooper is the Co-Founder and the Medical Director of the Myocarditis Foundation.\nDr. Dor Lotan\, MD\, Director of the newly formed Pericarditis/Myocarditis Disease Center at NY Presbyterian Hospital\, and a member of the Myocarditis Foundation Board of Directors.\nCandace Moose\, RN.\, Giant Cell Myocarditis Survivor\, heart transplant recipient and Co-Founder of the Myocarditis Foundation.\nGenevieve Rumore\, RN\, Executive Director Myocarditis Foundation\nGiustina Schiano\, lost her son\, Lee\, to Viral Myocarditis and is a Director in the Myocarditis Foundation and Family liaison\n\nThere is no charge to attend\, Seats are limited\, so please register as soon as possible with:  melissa@myocarditisfoundation.org    or call to: 281-713-2962 \nWe look forward to seeing some familiar faces and eager to meet some new ones!
