The Myocarditis Foundation is happy to announce that we have been selected as an official charity partner of the 2026 New York City Marathon! This year marks the 55th edition of the world’s largest marathon, with an average of 50,000 participants annually.

We are honored to have seven runners representing the Myocarditis Foundation, raising awareness and fundraising on our behalf. Their efforts will help us continue our mission to fight myocarditis through research, education, and patient support.

As A Myocarditis Foundation Athlete, you will receive:

• Coveted slot in the 2026 NYC Marathon
• Ongoing fundraising assistance and tips from the Myocarditis Foundation staff along with a personalized fundraising page.
• An Official Myocarditis Foundation running shirt

As A Myocarditis Foundation Athlete, you will commit to:

• Raising a minimum of $5000 by race day November 1, 2026
• Paying the registration fee for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon
• Notifying your friends and family that you are running in the 2026 NYC Marathon on behalf of the Myocarditis Foundation through email, social media, and casual conversations!
• Running with purpose and having a great experience!
