The Myocarditis Foundation is happy to announce that we have been selected as an official charity partner of the 2027 Chevron Houston Marathon Run For a Reason Program!

We are honored to have runners representing the Myocarditis Foundation, raising awareness and fundraising on our behalf. Their efforts will help us continue our mission to fight myocarditis through research, education, and patient support.

As A Myocarditis Foundation Athlete, you will receive:

• Coveted slot in the 2027 Houston Marathon
• Ongoing fundraising assistance and tips from the Myocarditis Foundation staff along with a personalized fundraising page.
• An Official Myocarditis Foundation running shirt

As A Myocarditis Foundation Athlete, you will commit to:

• Raising a minimum of $2000 by race day January 17th, 2027
• Notifying your friends and family that you are running in the 2027 Houston Marathon on behalf of the Myocarditis Foundation through email, social media, and casual conversations!
• Running with purpose and having a great experience!
