My name is Abby Beltrani – I’m honored to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon with the Myocarditis Foundation to raise awareness and support research for myocarditis.

Family, friends, and athletics have always been the foundation of my life. When a close friend of mine was diagnosed with myocarditis, it really opened my eyes to how much of a ‘silent disease’ this is and how important the research is to support patients and families facing this diagnosis. Seeing a friend navigate the challenges of myocarditis and rising up to complete his own amazing athletic achievements despite his diagnosis has been inspiring. 

The NYC marathon presents an incredible opportunity to combine all parts of my life that are most important, and run for something bigger than myself.
