I’m excited to run the 2026 New York City Marathon in honor and memory of my son, Quinn, and in support of the Myocarditis Foundation. Quinn was the youngest of our four boys and was only 8 years old when we lost him suddenly to myocarditis. I am running alongside our son Connor, who is 27.

We are proud to support the Myocarditis Foundation at the NYC Marathon. In Quinn’s honor, we recently held the 13th annual Quinn’s Cup Hockey Tournament—a youth hockey tournament in our community of Edina, Minnesota. The tournament has helped raise funds for the Myocarditis Foundation and increase awareness of this disease.

Running the New York City Marathon is another meaningful way to support this important cause. Connor and I are looking forward to the challenge.

My fundraising goal is to raise $5,000 by race day on November 1st. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to support the Myocarditis Foundation’s mission.
