COVID-19 has changed how we should think; it plays by a different set of rules. What they are finding out is that Exercise can make COVID worse, even in mild cases. We do not know enough about this virus and are learning new things almost daily.
Even if you only come down with a mild to moderate case of COVID, they are finding out that you are still at risk for myocarditis, inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall, which can weaken the heart and lead to heart failure, abnormal heartbeat, or even sudden death. While exercise is normally good for you, in light of this disease, it is not. Please do not delay seeing your doctor if you are not feeling 100%.
