It was the summer of 2016 when Ryan became ill with what they thought was the flu…after more than 4 months of hospitalization he lost his fight to Viral Myocarditis at the age of 21.
His family would like to raise awareness of this disease so that others might possibly avoid the suffering and sorrow that they have had to endure. They are holding an awareness event/fundraiser, in honor of Ryan McArthur, on Saturday November 3, 2018 at Liuna Gardens, in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Doors open at 6PM. There will be Guest Speakers from the Myocarditis Foundation. Door Prizes and Silent Auction.
