Many of the stores carried out their “Black Friday” deals throughout the weekend and now here we are on Cyber Monday, where many people utilize the internet to possibly finish their shopping without battling the crowds in the stores.
We ask that you use this time, after you have shopped for your family and friends, to think about making a donation to the Myocarditis Foundation on #GivingTuesday, Tuesday November 27th. Many people make donations at the end of the year to charities and we hope that the Myocarditis Foundation is on your list.
This disease, that so often attacks many children and otherwise often athletic and healthy young adults, needs to find the reason why it attacks those that it does and how we can stop it from doing so. Myocarditis is a leading cause of Cardiomyopathy, which causes heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. It is the 3rd leading cause of Sudden Cardiac Death in this age group as well.
We are making great strides in the field of myocarditis research, but we need your help in keeping this momentum going so that we can put a stop to this disease.
