Sadly, we have not had an in-person meeting since before the COVID Pandemic. This has been 3 years of us not getting together for the emotional support that we all have found so important to our being. Just like other reunions that used to take place on an annual basis and meant so much to all who attended, we need to get back on the calendar with ours.
Zoom meetings have filled a part of the void with you being able to meet with our doctors, especially on an international basis! However, our doctors and researchers will be at the Heart Failure Society of America at the end of September and early October and are anxiously looking forward to meeting and speaking with our patients and families once again.
Giustina Schiano, a Board member and our dedicated Family Advocate, who herself has lost her only child to myocarditis, is planning another great meeting in National Harbor, Maryland on September 30th & October 1st. The agenda has not been finalized, but we do need to know the numbers interested who will be attending so that we can best plan.
Dinner Friday night, Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday are included.
There is no cost to you except for your travel and sleep room.
