In 2012 #GivingTuesday was started as a global initiative that celebrates generosity and kindness by giving to non-profit organizations all around the world.

In the same way that Black Friday and Cyber Monday kick off the Holiday Buying Season, #GivingTuesday kicks off the Giving Season, highlighting the true meaning of what this time of the year is all about.

This philanthropic holiday sets itself apart as a social media celebration, hence the # “hashtag”. Donors who give to charities on #GivingTuesday, often share about their favorite causes on FaceBook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. and encourage their friends to give, too.

We need to stop Myocarditis from being a leading cause of Sudden Death in children and young adults, who are otherwise healthy.

Please encourage your friends to share this information as well so that we can get the word out to as many as we can.

Most people do not know about Myocarditis until it affects them. Help us change that and those that it affects. #GivingTuesday,  #SaveYoungHearts
