The Myocarditis Foundation first learned of Lily’s, myocarditis story in 2017, when they moved back to Texas after her bout with Acute Myocarditis. With the help of the doctors in Florida, and then Dr. Price at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, she has made a full recovery and is working on helping others with rare diseases, such as myocarditis.

Lily has seen firsthand the toll that rare diseases take on patients and their families. With rare diseases, there are usually not others that they can relate and speak to about what they are going through. This has inspired Lily to create a business to raise money to support children with rare diseases. Lily is working with “Cheyanna’s Champions 4 Children (CC4Cs)” and their families.

Lily is a “Teen Advocate 4 Children” and is raising funds to support CC4Cs family programs. All funds raised will support financial assistance, mental health and well-being, and programs for all CC4C families.

Lily is baking homemade frosted shortbread cookies to raise money for children with rare and undiagnosed conditions. She is super passionate about this 501c3 charity, because her family can relate to having a child that has been diagnosed with a rare or undiagnosed condition.

Very proud of Lily for looking to help others with rare diseases.

Don’t they look yummy!
