It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our long-standing members of our Board of Directors, Joel Aranson.
Joel joined the Myocarditis Foundation’s Board of Directors, after he lost his son-in-law to Giant Cell Myocarditis in 2013. He has been a staunch supporter for raising awareness for Myocarditis and a member of the Myocarditis Foundation Golf Outing Committee, which raises funding for Myocarditis Research. Besides the Golf Outing Committee work, he was a member of the Myocarditis Foundation’s Finance Committee, with an extensive knowledge base as the Founder and Chairman of the National Sporting Goods Corporation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane, who is the Chairperson for the Foundation’s Tribute Cards.
Rest in Peace, Joel… You will be deeply missed by us all.
