The Myocarditis Foundation will be holding a Patient and Family Meeting in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, May 3rd. This meeting will be a chance for patients and families in Australia to come, learn about myocarditis, talk to myocarditis expert Dr.Leslie Cooper, and learn how to help establish a branch of the Myocarditis Foundation in Australia.
The meeting will be taking place at the RACV City Club at 501 Bourke Street in Melbourne. The meeting will be from 5:00pm-8:00pm, and a light dinner will be served for those in attendance. This Patient and Family meeting will be located in Melbourne due to the World Heart Federation’s Annual Scientific Meeting, which the Myocarditis Foundation was invited to attend. The Myocarditis Foundation took this opportunity to meet and talk with the patients and families in the Melbourne area. We hope to have other international meetings in the future, but is dependent on location and finances.
